A Show Home for Master Builders Waters Homes
This exceptional show home from Master Builders Waters Homes is in the picturesque town of Belper in the Peak District. We were tasked with creating a striking yet welcoming show home, designed to inspire potential buyers and support the successful sale of the remaining 36 properties within the development.
A Sophisticated, Considered Palette
The overall scheme has a sophisticated, contemporary feel, using a calm neutral foundation of warm greys, soft taupes, creams and natural woods. Black detailing and metallic accents add definition and give the interiors a more luxurious, considered finish.
Living and Dining Set the Tone
The main living and dining space set the tone with soft tailored upholstery, natural textures and statement monochrome pieces. The combination of the buttoned sofa, patterned occasional chair, bold artwork, black furniture and warm timber creates a look that feels upmarket but still comfortable and achievable.
Three Bedrooms, Three Personalities
Across the bedrooms, the neutral foundation continues while individual accent colours give each room its own personality.
The Navy Bedroom
Deep navy and blue tones create a calm, luxurious feel in this bedroom, giving the space a relaxed and considered character while still feeling warm and inviting.
The crisp white furniture is from our Scandi Collection, providing a light contemporary contrast against the deeper blues. At the centre of the room is the high-end Miami bed, upholstered in denim with distinctive white piping, bringing another layer of colour and texture into the scheme.
Soft furnishings, artwork and carefully selected accessories continue the blue palette without overpowering the room, creating a coordinated bedroom that feels sophisticated, comfortable and aspirational while remaining achievable for prospective buyers.
The Monochrome Bedroom
Black, stone and textured finishes introduce a more dramatic, boutique-hotel feel to this bedroom, deliberately creating a very different personality from the softer navy scheme.
The bedroom furniture is from the Pietra Griega Collection, with its striking dark stone-effect finish adding depth and a strong contemporary edge. This is balanced by the Liberty full feature headboard, shown here in a soft cream velvet, which brings warmth and softness to the centre of the room.
Monochrome artwork, sculptural accessories and the patterned occasional chair complete the scheme, combining contrasting textures and finishes to create a bedroom that feels luxurious, distinctive and carefully considered.
The Colour Bedroom
Rich oxblood red, ochre accents and vibrant artwork bring energy and a slightly more youthful character to this bedroom, demonstrating how colour can be introduced confidently without overwhelming the overall interior.
The bold bedroom furniture is from our Leona Collection in oxblood red, creating an immediate focal point and giving the room its distinctive personality. A black Hampton metal bed provides contrast and helps balance the stronger colours, while crisp white bedding keeps the overall scheme feeling fresh.
Colour is then carried through the cushions, throw, artwork and accessories, bringing the different elements together and creating a bedroom that feels playful, contemporary and memorable.
